So we have art on the street and buildings as art! The Seattle Public Library Building! Designed by Rem Koolhass and opened in 2004. The bronze sculpture is across the street in front of the Bank of America building.

New Family Member!

So mom sent a new addition to the Gnome family! He doesn't have a name yet. He & Guntheer look strikingly similar, don't ya think?

Seattle Sights!

Some Seattle Sights from Friday night! Sculpture Park and Space Needle. Sculpture Park is on the north end of downtown next to the water front. Good place to take some pictures, people watch, and relax.

I have no idea what it is but it's Big, it's Steel, and it's Orange! Some say it looks like a crab when viewed from the water.

It doesn't seem tall next to all the sky scrappers but when you are below it, WOW!

The view from the O deck is always breath taking, specially at night! One of those see before you die things.

The Elevator Ride to the O deck and back down is always entertaining. Only last some 40 secs but the operators always have some witty comments. Usually better at the end of the summer as they've had plenty of practice during the high tourist season.
