Little Si Hike

Made a morning hike to summit of Little Si. Great fun! I was planning on doing Mt. Si but a friend suggested doing Little Si first. Mt. Si is almost 4,000 feet elevation change while Little Si is only 1,400. Since it was the first hike of the season thought it best to start small. Glad we did! 1 1/2 hours up, 1/2 hour spent at the summit and 1 hour down. It's 5 miles round trip. Well worth it! Plan to go back soon! Here are the pictures and part of the GPS map I was able to do with my iPhone.

This route starts at the halfway point at the back of the mountain. I wasn't certain I'd have signal or enough batter to do the entire route. FYI: Hiking burns 500 cal/hr!

Updating Twitter Feed

So I'm trying to update my Twitter feed gadget in the right column. Make it more fun and active instead of the plain old text. Installed 2 I like. Probably let them simmer awhile to see which I like best.

Suppose I should post a picture of the house with all the lighting! Never did take a picture during the snow storms of last week! I think Dad might have one, have to check and see.
